FAQ & Travel Tips:
What are the luggage restrictions for your trips?
Price quotes on our overnight motorcoach trips cover one large suitcase and one carry-on bag per person. The carry-on should be small enough to accompany you on the bus if need be.
For trips featuring lodging, we include hotel tips to cover one large suitcase per person.
For trips with air transportation, airlines permit two checked bags per person most generally with a weight limit of 50 pounds each. Each airline has specific regulations concerning carry-on weight and size so that it can fit under the seat in front of you. This usually is a total of 45inches when adding the length, width, and height of your carry-on bag. At this time, U.S. regulations permit travel-size toiletries to be transported in a carry-on only if they are 3.4 oz/ 100ml or smaller and if they are enclosed in a quart size clear plastic zip-top bag. Travels and Journeys may limit their customers to one checked bag per person if motorcoach travel is also associated with a tour due to space restrictions on the bus.

Do you have any tips on traveling abroad?
While Travels and Journeys strives to make your trip as enjoyable as possible, there are always things to remember so you can have a safe and wonderful trip. Here are a few things that you may want to consider before taking a trip abroad that will help you avoid serious difficulties.
1. Make 2 copies of your passport identification page in case your passport is lost or stolen. Keep one at home and carry the other copy separate from your passport. You may also want to make a copy of the front and back of any credit cards that you are taking with you. Keep these copies in a separate and safe place away from the cards themselves so the information can be used in case your credit cards are lost or stolen. 2. Always leave a copy of your itinerary with family or friends so you can be contacted in case of an emergency. 3. Make sure your passport is signed and that it is valid through your entire trip. 4. Do not carry excessive amounts of money or credit cards with you. 5. Deal only with authorized agents when you make large purchases or exchange money.
